About EGL

Who are we?

The Electronic Gaming League is a group of Ball State students, faculty, and staff that enjoy video games. We are a laid-back group of people who get together on Fridays and Saturdays in the X-Treme Gaming Lab during the Fall and Spring semesters.

What do we do?

We play video games and organize related activities. In the past, we have held tournaments and LAN parties. It is our input that goes into consideration when new games are purchased for the lab. The possibilities are endless. Our ultimate goal is to bring together the gamers across campus and have a great time.

Our History

EGL began meeting in the spring semester of 2005. Soon after formation, they were able to secure facilities and all necessary means for the gaming lab. At the end of 2007 we had 226 members.
